 SYNOPSIS: (According to my husband, who has NOT read the book —  see how well he listens to my bookish ramblings)

Hot MMA fighters all over the place.  I’m talking SMOKIN’ HOT!  There is this girl who has all kinds of family and emotional issues who was never able to really get it on with a guy because of this.  When she meets MMA boy, let’s just say she doesn’t have this problem anymore.  You should read this book.  All the cool people are reading it like Katie McGarry and JK Rowling*.  DO IT!  *This may or may not be true, but Katie McGarry really is reading it.  Betty told me.

•  THE KISSING –  Major kissing…. hardcore kissing…. WAY MORE THAN KISSING… no limits.  ;)  hahaha
• THE SWOONING -  Cannon was a beast, a really sexy MMA fighting BEAST.  His body was insane- like totally ripped, super firm abs, and beautiful pecs that you just want to pet!  He is so protective over those he loves and goes out of his way to keep the neighborhood safe.  Overall, he is a really good guy that treats a woman right!
• THE SWAGGER –  I love a good sports romance!  Not only does the book touch on the whole MMA fighting thing with lots of scenes at the gym, but it was also a bit of a thriller due to a psycho ex-boyfriend and hidden murder weapon.  I couldn’t stop reading!
• THE OH SNAP! –  1. MMA Fighters Are Hot  2. Haunted By The Past  3. Stalkers  4. Vandalism  5. Good Friends  6. Letting Go
• THE UMMMM WHAT?? –  1.  Duh, he loves you.  Are you dumb?  2. Cannon and Yvettes PDA was a bit ridiculous considering their ages.  Are you adults or 16 year olds?  3.  After Yvette has a rough run in with a stalker, Cannon kisses her like a horny possessive teenager.  If I went through that, I’d want to be held, not make out in public.  4.  Who still goes to video stores?  Aren’t Blockbusters even shut down now?  This scene felt very late 1990s!

ENCORE:

This was definitely a guilty pleasure read!  I’m such a sucker for stories about damsels in distress being rescued by a big, hot men!  There were many various plots happening and I really loved the secondary characters, especially Cannon’s sister and Armie!  I can’t wait to read their story!!  If you like sports, really hot guys, and some suspense to spice things up– you will like this one!  This was my first Lori Foster book.  I’m looking forward to checking out some of her others!
